1.1 CNG Cylinders
Thick-walled pressurized tanks that store Compressed Natural Gas. These are available in different dimensions and sizes (40 Litres, 80 Litres, 120 Litres and 180 Litres)
1.1.1 Type 1 cylinders
Type 1 gas cylinders are usually manufactured from steel or aluminium. They are the lowest cost and heaviest cylinder type. This makes them most suitable for static applications and high-volume industrial use. Type 1 cylinders are less suitable for applications where low weights and portability is required.
1.1.2 Type 2 cylinders
Type 2 CNG tanks are very similar to type 1 CNG tanks; they are also made of steel, but type 2 tanks are lighter as a result of a thinner tank wall then wrapped with wire.
1.1.3 Type 3 cylinders
Type 3 gas cylinders feature a thin and lightweight aluminium liner, fully over-wrapped with carbon composite.
1.1.4 Type 4 cylinders
Type 4 gas cylinders are made primarily from carbon composite, with a polymer liner. They are the lightest and most expensive
1.1.5 Type 5 cylinders
These are the next generation of gas cylinders, and currently, they are used only in the most advanced military and aerospace applications. But if you need them we can make it happen just for you!
1.2 CNG Kits and Accessories
The kit consists of various parts you need for conversion of petrol/diesel vehicles or machines to CNG energy. We supply kits of popular brands from manufacturers in different parts of the world including China, India and Italia. Replacement parts for our kits are also available. - Low maintenance cost: CNG reduces maintenance costs since it contains no
additives and burns cleanly leaving no by-products of combustion to contaminate your spark plugs and engine oil. - Good for engine: The combustion chamber parts function at peak output for
longer periods before requiring service. The engine oil also remains clean which minimizes engine wear and requires less frequent changes. - Friendly and quieter: CNG is more environment friendly and CNG engines are much quieter due to the higher-octane rating of CNG over gasoline.
- Less polluting: CNG produces less exhaust emissions and as a result, harmful
emissions such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2 and nitrous oxide (N2O) is generally reduced by as much as 95% when compared to gasoline powered vehicles. - CNG fuel systems are also sealed, which prevents any spill or evaporation losses.
- Safe Fuel: Compressed Natural Gas auto ignites at a very high temperature of 540 degrees Celsius. This means that if it leaks it must be exposed to very high temperatures
to catch fire. Such temperatures are not found often in normal conditions, making CNG a relatively safe fuel. - High Efficiency: Cars that run on compressed natural gas are more fuel efficient
because CNG burns well and can run for more distance per kg than petrol or diesel cars.
